Since 2006, Park's Black Belt Academy has been providing instruction in Taekwondo and the martial arts in the Tacoma, WA area. Now, we are proud to say that he have moved into Parkland, Wa starting February 1st, 2010.
Park's is a Beginner to Black Belt academy that offers top instruction from a World Certified Master and Instructors. Our School offers many important principles that our students can learn. We teach discipline, self-control, and self defense. PBBA follows the rules and regulations of the World Taekwondo Federation; the largest governing body of sport Taekwondo in the world. We also adhier to the techniques passed through Kukkiwon; the official governing body of Taekwondo. Every black belt is certified interationally through the Kukkiwon and is recognized throughout the world.
About Master Dokun Park
Master Dokun Park is a 5th Degree black belt in Taekwondo; presented by Grandmaster Pyong Tuk Ko and internationally recognized as a Taekwondo master through the Kukkiwon. Master Park started his training early, as a child in Korea. After his family came to the United States, Master Park continued to practice under Grandmaster, Pyong Tuk Ko, in Hampton, Virginia.
After training for many years, Master Park went on to dominated his division in sparring and forms at local and state tournaments. He even went on later to place in a national tournament.
Master Park has been recognized and awarded many honors for his contribution to tournaments, events, and expanding the practice of Taekwondo through his career. This effort has reflected into his teaching and therefore into his students; training multiple champion competitors.
